Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Seriously, as April Fools jokes go, this one is docile and slightly amusing.  Except that there is a severe irony in the fact that this morning, there was a cat left at my client's doorstep.  And now, this Deviant Art Cats joke thing....I'm slightly afraid, lol.

Just a little explanation: I do pet sitting, and this morning, a cat was left at my client's doorstep at some point between last night and this morning, with a note asking for her to take care of him.  It made for a very hectic morning on my part.  When you do pet sitting, there are many things you DON'T want to have happen. Top of the list?  You don't want to lose a pet.  Gaining a pet, on the other hand, never even occurred to me...

It's sad, though, that the whole "baby on a doorstep" thing had to happen today, of all days.  Because I kinda hate April Fools Day - it's hard to take things seriously when things happen today.  Plus, I hate pranks.  And while I'm sure no one would go so far as to leave a live cat at someone's doorstep as a joke (because if they did, they should be shot), it still crossed my mind.

Anyway, it's been a weird morning, so I'm just going to go try and do something productive now ^_^  Happy April!  And you know, if you can, don't go pranking people.  It's actually...very annoying..

Ugh! I went to check this journal in preview, and another "Mandatory Cats Information" bubble popped up. I know about cats already!! I have two of my own! I work with them for a living! I've been an animal person all my life! I was obsessed with the musical, for pete's sake!!! Damn you, Deviant Art! Stop annoying me!!
