So, little by little, I've been showing my friend MLP. I've known her since we were in 6th grade, and part of our friendship involves getting each other into the other's fandom. Sometimes, it's a total miss. (She never got into Cats, the musical, but at least she would go see the shows with me. But I never got into Prince of Tennis, so it evens out.) Sometimes we change the course of each other's lives (I got her into Sailor Moon years ago when we first met, she got me into Phantom of the Opera. Now she's a huge anime buff and I'm a big musical lover.)
The only thing is, I have a tendency to gush about all the little fan details when watching the episodes, so she only wants to watch it if I'm watching it with her. Which is fun, but also painfully slow to get her up to speed.
Every time we finish our little pony marathons, (which usually consists of maximum 4 episodes, cause we end up talking about it and other things all the time) I ask her what she thinks. Every time so far, she's been saying, "It's okay!"
This last time, we finished Stare Master, I asked her what she thought, and her answer was, "It's really fun!! I like looking for all the little details." She's pointing out background characters like a baws! She's bringing up "Trollestia" before me, and she's finding the way Equestria works very amusing. She even noticed the winged Doctor Whooves in the Best Fliers Competition! She thought it was hilarious that the Pegasus have to hoof-make each individual snowflake. And she really liked the Sonic Rainboom episode.
So...I'm glad ^_^ Now she knows what all the fuss is about. Then maybe I can fangirl with another fangirl in person on Saturday mornings when watching the new episodes! Eee! That would be awesome!
Anyways...
Working on the last chapter of Romance. Have a bunch of half finished pictures that just aren't looking right, yet, that I have to someday put up. And requests....HAVE to finish those requests. I've been editing a lot of people's fics for them, so it's really slowed down my progress. Editing is slow for me even when it's my OWN fic, let alone someone else's. But taking a hiatus on that so I can do my stuff.

Oh you're so lucky! Rather she is, getting into the pony craze and all. It's nice that you two try to get into each other's fandoms. I know there are live streams of people who watch MLP on Saturdays I don't know where though. I've only just heard of them. If you two have web cams we could create a private room to Pony Out on Saturdays or when they run marathons!
I know, I'm awkward. LOL. All the girls in this town are high maintenance Divas and only care about their hair, nails and their implants.
You know, I've tried watching in live streams before, but they never work for me. I'm always asked for applications to download into my computer that don't work! (Plus, I don't have a webcam, though I probably should get one so I can communicate with my brother on Skype.) That's why I'm excited about my friend getting into ponies. When we were both into Avatar, the Last Airbender, we were texting each other like mad during the final episode. It was so fun. (And SHE got me into Avatar, too! That's why I was all, "You OWE me!" for Ponies.)
I hear they are making another Avatar: TLAB movie...also directed by Shamalan, I think. Maybe it'll be better. Maybe it'll have Toph.
