The little colt reading the newspaper sounds like he hit puberty early on...Seriously, the colt voices sound way too mature, at least to me.

Diamond Tiara complementing the girls?  Calling their idea a stroke of genius?  That was just...odd...I don't even think she talks to Silver Spoon so kindly...

Lol, Rarity's laugh was too cute.  And when Sweetie hit her horn?  Well, if it's THAT easy to disarm a unicorn....take notes, people.  If you ever get magicked by an out of control Twilight Sparkle, just smack her on the horn.

LOL, the look on RD's face when she lays down. And yeah, I wouldn't like anypony touching my hoove, either.  Gotten one manicure in my life cause my friend made me do it for prom.  It was torture. TORTURE.

That's a lot of gossip to have in just one newspaper.  okay...

I love how Rarity suspected her sister the second Twilight mentioned that her sister was on the newspaper.  Yet, I'm a little disappointed that Rarity wasn't as dramatic as she could have been...But she was pretty big sister-y, which was nice.  We rarely get to see that side of Rarity.

TS - a FORCE FIELD?!  Holy Crap!  The fanon's head exploded, I think...
AJ and BM - That role reversal..  And Oh my god, BM talking in full sentences? Yelling?  OH MY GOD! I had my hand over my mouth the entire time.  Shocked.

Hehe, the presses haven't started yet.  They have a really close cut off time from printing to release....

Seriously, Cheerilee?  Did you pay attention at all to the newspaper?  You were supposed to supervise!  Instead you left a bunch of kids to their own devices and were probably the only pony in town who didn't read the newspaper, or how the gossip column had spun out of control.  We've established you don't have a special somepony, and you seem to live for your job...I mean, how much grading is involved that it eats up all your time? It's like that line from Avenue Q.  "Are you doing anything tonight?" "Grading Term Papers...but it's kindergarten, so they're VERY short."  So what were you doing that you couldn't supervise?!

Overall, I liked the episode.  I'd probably give it a 5 out of 5.  It started off slow, but really picked up, and there was just a lot of fun moments in it ^_^  The CMC episodes are really getting better and better now that they're not constantly on a journey to get their cutie marks, but actually acting like friends.  Even if this episode started with them wanting their cutie marks...it evolved. So, yeah.
