Crashing on me when you know I don't have you backed up. Silly computer!  Luckily, the Geek Squad fixed the problem before they had to restore you!  That makes mama happy.

Seriously, my computer crashed a little over a week ago.  Viruses *sigh!*  And I was in the middle of working on two items for a story, so I've been ITCHING to get my computer back, WITH my files intact.  Everything looks good.  But now my computer is backing up all the files, so it's working un petit peu slow.  Still, maybe I'll finally get to finish the story I was editing when the computer crashed on me!!!

So, on a happy note, the Geek Squad were waiting for me to bring in an external hard drive to back up all my files onto, and one geek didn't get the memo, and worked an hour and a half on my computer this morning and managed to find the problem.  Poor communication saved me over a hundred dollars.  Hehehe...insert bad joke about how men don't communicate. Not that all the geeks in the Geek Squad are men, but the three people I know of who were working on my computer were, so the joke stands.

Anyways...

I have over 862 Deviant Art messages to go through....  O.o

I've been so absorbed in writing, drawing, D.A., and the internet in general during my free time, I didn't know what to do without my computer.  I discovered this thing called a television. Perhaps you've heard of it.  Hehe, but seriously, I've been busy, so it wasn't toooo excruciating.

Now to get back to what I was doing over a week ago....

Lucky, my desktop crashed and I had like almost a gig of things on it!

Well, maybe my luck is changing, because technology doesn't usually like me. When it crashes, it CRASHES, and takes everything with it! I'm talking computers, phones, external hard drives, and all that jazz.

...You still haven't lost a gigabyte of VERY important information, or have you?

Maybe not a gigabyte at once, but probably over the years I have. Photos I'll never get back, the very first novel I ever finished, videos of my nephew when he was younger, saved conversations that are lost. But yeah, never all at once. The novel is the one that really kills me, though.

1GB of paid games that are no longer available, photos, VERY important documents, account information that had credit card numbers (Numbers that are thankfully invalid), oh and some other personal stuff. ALL AT ONCE.

Oooh, that sucks. I've lost games before. Paid games. But usually by then, I'm no longer interested in them, so it didn't hit me hard. *Pats you on the head* Here, have some ponies.

Thanks, there's only one paid game I wish I could get back. It was a lego game
