It is NOT a wonderful, wonderful thing. Discord, you liar! Between preparing for my brother's visit, waiting for a cousin who unexpectedly wanted to drop by (but not here, so who knows if he'll even come by), taking care of my neighbor's dogs while having my own menagerie to take care of, waiting for my new laptop to be ready, preparing for my road trip, taking care of my dad, the house, my own apartment, my own life, volunteer work, my own business, my budget, my future, and the stories and art that I choose to write to keep my sanity...well, Chaos is kinda kicking my ass.
You win this round, Discord...
By the way, this is kinda my way of saying I probably won't be present for the upcoming week, if you're wondering why I don't respond to any messages - especially the beginning of next week.
Oh, it's also my way of saying I'm FINALLY purchasing a good laptop. Now maybe I don't have to spread my work out between a desk top and a laptop, then never get anything done! Plus I can actually run the programs I need without my laptop crashing. That, and it's good for gaming

Not that that was a contributing factor in buying it... >_> <_<
...I lost my train of thought....ah, well, as good a place to end the journal, if any!
And when did DZ start putting people's stats along with their name in the comments??
But now a days, it's all about MMORPGS, and while I was totally into FFXI when it first came out, I refuse to get into any other MMORPGs. Just waaaay too much time eaten and it's too dangerous to get obsessed with! Plus, there are so many first person shooters, and I've never been into that. Ugh, and then when you have to get into a party and people are mad at you if you do something wrong, and really, why do I need the stress?
Of course, nowadays, you have Facebook games and Words With Friends kind of games, which is hardly the same as an RPG, but at least you can play it for a few minutes and be done until you pick it back up again, where as an RPG sucks you in until you're done with the game. But you know, my brother got me an X-Box for Christmas, and I've only been using it for the kinect, playing dancing games, that I have no idea what other games there are for it! I should probably look into that eventually...
....
I honestly did not expect to type that much...
Umm yeah i know what you are talking about but most of my experience goes into First Person Shooters, Strategy RPG's, RPG's stuff like that I play Battle Field 3 a bit as well as League of Legends, I also have my own little minecraft server if you want to get into the creative side of things a bit but it has its own challenges as well rather then just building. As for FPS's and other games I dont really take them seriously to the point where loosing will make me pissed but it does annoy me, wish i could say that for some others as well -_- people on the internet i swear...
